Default date formats

I've istalled 2007 B2TR. When I go to insert a pre-formatted Front Page into
a document the Date box will only show the American Date form (mm/dd/yyyy).
How do I get it to show British Format (dd/mm/yyyy). I have no problem in
Excel.
Can someone help please.
