How to do a manual line break?
A text wrapping break is not the same thing as a line break. There is no way
to insert a line break using Insert | Break. You might not see the difference between a line break and a text wrapping break in straight text, but if the text is wrapped next to a graphic, there is a big difference. -- Suzanne S. To do a manual Line break there are two ways to go about it. 1) go to Insert on the menu bar click on Break and then click Text Wrapping Break 2) or just Shift-Enter like CyberTaz said which is a whole lot easier but sometimes people don't like keyboard shortcuts...I don't know why you're hands are on the keyboard already, right Taz? In other words i got a new line but it remained the same paragraph. Is there a way of doing it in word? And is there a shortcut to this? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Samantha |
