change view track changes default setting
Hi, I would like to change the default track changes view style. When I open
or create a new document, the track changes default view is "Final Showing Markup." I would like to change that to "Final" so that I don't see the track changes made. Does anyone know how to do that? thanks. |

Just so you are clear that displaying Final doesn't actually remove the
changes, and that anyone you send the file to will be able to see them, you can change this behavior by changing the appropriate setting on the Security tab of the Tools | Options dialog. To remove the tracking, you need to accept the changes. -- Suzanne S.
