Default Header Row Repeat

I want the top row of my table to repeat. I selected the row Table
Properties Row Repeat Row checked. But it's not happening. I cannot view
repeat in print layout or when I actually print the doc.

What did I miss?

WORD 2007
thanks

Check to confirm that you did not inadvertently apply the setting to all
rows, in which case it will not work.

Also, verify that the table hasn't been split into two, by a manual page
break. To merge a split table, delete the paragraph mark (¶) between tables.

If you need a break in the table, use "Page break before" formatting on the
row that should start on a new page: Select the entire row. Click the Page
Layout tab on the ribbon. In the Paragraph group, click the dialog launcher
button (in the bottom right corner). You'll find the option on the Line and
Page Breaks tab of the dialog box.

Note: To see paragraph marks and other nonprinting marks, press
Ctrl+Shift+8.

Did all that. Googled the issue and found more items to check. No joy there
either. I gave up and started a new doc and new table. It worked. Oh well...
thanks!

Possibly, the table was corrupt.

For future reference, you may want to take a look at
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/apperrors/corruptdoc.htm.
