See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...utoFormat.htm; Word thinks
"Dear Sir" is a heading. And pressing Enter twice is a no-no; use Spacing After instead. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "spotdog" wrote in message ... when i type Dear Sir and press enter twice.Dear Sir goes bigger and bold. |

Try undoing the "Auto Format" by hovering the cursor over the word/phrase
until a blue box appears under it. When that happens, if you mouse over the blue box the "Autocorrect options" box should appear and you can select "Undo Automatic Format" from the list. "spotdog" wrote: when i type Dear Sir and press enter twice.Dear Sir goes bigger and bold. |
