This is a follow-on question to an earlier post. Does anybody know of a way
within Word 2007 to do a Find / Replace across multiple documents? Thanks |

Find / Replace across multiple documents
Either of the macros in
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/BatchFR.htm will work in Word 2007, with one minor adjustment. They both determine which files to open by searching for files with a file name of "*.doc". For Word 2007 you need to change that to either "*.docx" or "*.doc*", depending on whether you want to include macro-enabled documents (*.docm). -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
