Default How do I change default formatting when using word 2003 for email.

I am using Word 2003 as my HTML email editor, however it defaults to yellow
text & double spacing. I have an auto signature which ends up double spaced
also. How can I change the font, font colour & line spacing permanently?
I've tried adjusting templates but no success.

I've never heard of anything like this happen before in Word. Check your
styles whether they are really on "single" (or exact xx pt) linespacing.

When exactly are you seeing the double spaces?

I am having the identical problem out of the clear blue ! I am not in Word
that much and discovered this problem in Outlook. It IS set to single
spacing but it double spaces EVERYTHING I type ! I then discovered Word is
doing the same thing. On EVERY email and EVERY new Word document I have to
change it back to single spacing. It's annoying and I don't know how or why
it started but I want to "default" it back to single spacing for ALL Word
documents and email (Outlook). It's literally driving me nuts and wasting
alot of my time trying to fix this !

Has anyone figured out how to fix this by changing the DEFAULT forever and
ever so I don't have to format EVERY Word document and email I do. I don't
know how or why mine changed from single space to double space ! Although
it does show single space, it is double spacing ALL my new Word documents and
Outlook emails.

For documents, see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...alTemplate.htm. I don't
know how to set defaults for emails.

Most experienced Word users do not use Word to edit emails. It is
problematic at best.

You should look at the solutions shown in
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/AppErr...ocNotBlank.htm.
