Default TOC page number hyperlink Problem in word 2003 vs word 97

I have a TOC (field code {TOC \T "SPECHEAD1,1" }) in word 97 that provides a
table of content with page number hyperlinked. When click page number, it
jump right to the page. Everything works fine in word 97. When we open the
document using word 2003, the hyperlink at page number is gone. Nothing
happen when click the page number at TOC. Any suggestion of how to get the
hyperlink back?

Thanks in advance.
