Merge Document
I made a merge document and got as far as looking at individual letters
before I closed it. Now I want to go back into the template and edit it. But when I try to open it, it runs the SQL command and gives me the results rather than the template. I want to edit the template. What did I do wrong? -- Jerry Weiss |

Merge Document
It's not really giving you the results, just a sort of preview of the first
page based on the first record (or some other record chosen at random). You can still edit it, but you may just have to work with the displayed text. When you select text that represents a merge field, the entire field will be selected, and you can delete it if necessary. Or you can add or change any of the static text in the document. You may find that selecting Mail Merge Recipients and clicking Clear All will result in your merge fields being displayed. -- Suzanne S.
