Default Hand-Hover Hyperlink to Website in MS Word

Please help. I am running Microsoft Office Windows XP's version of MS Word.
When I create a hyperlink, eg.: http://www.google.com it only has a blue
coating and there is no hand to hover to in order me to navigate to the
website. Instead, I have to right-click and select from the sub-menu.

I write to ask whether there is a way to get the pointer-hand-hover when,
once clicked, will take you direct to website.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You should be seeing a ScreenTip that says "Ctrl+click to follow link." You
can change this behavior on the Edit tab of Tools | Options.
