how to add a tempate to a word doc?
easy question. I have a word doc. I have a template (.dot) I want to move
all thee text from my word doc to the template. how is this done? |

Not as confused as me!
What *exactly* are you trying to do? I think you want to turn a document into a template?
If that's the case, then save the document as a template. You'll find Word Template in the Files of Type drop down at the bottom of the Save As dialog box.
