Can open using passwords, can not remove passwords.
Word 2003, Windows XP Professional
I know my Passwords for Opening and Modifying. I (thought I) removed password protection earlier. When I attempt to open a file now I must use the known Passwords. Good so far. When I go to remove the protection I see no asterisks for "assword to open" or "Password to modify" and read-only recommended is not checked. Why must I use "Open" and "Modify" passwords. I want to create Adobe .pdf files and it's much easier if I remove the word protection first. |
