Default How do I optimize a document to be read in Reading Layout view?

I thought if I changed the paper size things like pictures might line up
better, but that doesn't seem to be the case. any suggestions?

Hi ?B?TURlYXRvbg==?=,

The Reading Layout really isn't intended to be WYSIWYG, or handle
"floating" object well; it's designed for reading a lot of text. I
discussed this with MS at some length during the Word 2003 beta, and was
told that, in this case, I'd be better off using the Print Layout view with
a zoom factor and the space at the top and bottom of the page suppressed.
