Default Page numbering portrait and landscape pages

Dear netters:

I am formating my thesis and numbered my pages on the bottom right corner
(using the page numbering function). I have certain pages (e.g. tables,
charts) that are formated in landscape and the page number orientated to the
bottom right of that landscape page. It now prints on the top right rotated
90 degress clockwise when collated with the other portrait pages of the
thesis. Can anyone offer any help on how to fix the page numbering on these
landscape pages??

Any advice is gratefully appreciated.
