Adding page numbers
Have a document in Word 2003 and like to add a number of pages (3) to front
of document without page numbers and without disturbing the page numbers of the document |

Copy and paste, but it will most likely change the page numbering unless you

Insert a section break between your new pages and the existing ones, then go
to Format Page Number in Section 2 and select "Start at 1." For more, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...rontMatter.htm. Note that you will need to unlink the header/footer in Section 2 from Section 1 if you want to omit numbering in Section 1. -- Suzanne S.
