Default Please recommend a good course for someone brand new to Word

My wife is a nurse and would like to learn word. She knows nothing of the
product, and has very limited PC exposure. I need a good interactive tutorial
that will walk her through the functions so that she can creat simple
documents, letters and so on.

Any help much appreciated

For another approach -- I learned a whole lot from the book
"Word 2002 For Dummies". My method is to sit at the computer with the book
open to my left, and a sample Word file open. Then I read a paragraph or
two, do the thing described, and then highlight the parts in the book that
seemed extra important to me. That way it didn't 'feel' like a book. And
now I have a convenient reference source. It was a GFC experience: Good,
Fast, Cheap. Just FYI....

I have been learning Word XP and, more recently Word 2003. I have found an
EXCELLENT tutorial for learning Word. The books are made by Microsoft, it's a
series of tutorials called "Step by Step". You can buy these book at Barnes
and Noble for about $25. They're great!
