I would like to set up a default footer that will be automaticallyt applied
to any new Word doc that I create. I can't seem to figure out how to change the default doc. |

You can get instructions for modifying Normal.dot at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...alTemplate.htm, but I strongly urge you not to put a footer (or header) of any kind in Normal.dot, as this will mess up labels. Instead, create a document template (see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...platePart1.htm) and put your footer there, then base new documents on that template. -- Suzanne S.
