Default linking even pages and linking odd pages

I like to keep the left (odd) pages "linked" with the left pages, the right
with te right.
E.g: in case I insert a paragraph on page 1 the existing bottomtext below it
on page 1 should flow to page 3.
I use is for coursematerials where on the leftpage you can read some theory,
on the right page you can read extra explanations, examples etc.
Who can help me?

This is not feasible in Word except using linked text boxes, and you're
limited to 32 of those.

As Suzanne explained, what you are asking can only be done with text
boxes (and no more than 32 linked text boxes are supported).

A different way is to use a two-column table to lay out your pages.
The limitation of this idea is that you would have to keep all the
information within a page (since tables cannot extend across the width
of a page).

Another alternative would be to use Publisher, which can easily create the
linked text boxes, but it doesn't offer some of the more advanced features
of Word such as automatic TOC, index, footnotes, etc.
