Default bulletts/line spacing

Question, I used word to create a generic rusume and for the label "interest"
I replace with the text label "qualifications", then I spaced over to place
bulletts with one line of text. When i hit the enter button (since there are
more than 1 qualification) after their qualification sentence the bulletts
and line spacing on the second line is at least 2. I am trying to stay
uniform with the bulletts and line spacing that are at the beginning of
resume. I have tried to highlight that portion of text and under
format/paragraph/line spacing I choose 1 line, but that does not help.
Anybody have a suggestion?

To get the same formatting, you need to use the same style. Click in one of
the bulleted lists that are formatted the way you like and see what style is
displayed in the Style box or Styles and Formatting task pane. Then apply
the same style to your new bullet points.

Rather than apply direct formatting to your style, it would be preferable to
modify the style. Also, in the first instance, if the line spacing was
already single and there was still extra space between lines, it probably
resulted from Space Before/After applied to the style.
