Default When I try to drag a row in a table with the mouse, it just snaps

to the original, equidistant size. I don't know what setting I may have
accidentally used that takes away the ability to manually adjust rows to
different sizes. Please help.

A good place to start is to disable auto resizing (click Options... on the
Table tab in Table Properties and clear the check box; there may also be an
easier way: in Word 2003, it's Table | AutoFit | Fixed Column Width). Also,
if Snap to Grid is enabled, you won't be able to make fine corrections
without overriding the grid (by pressing Alt).
