Mark Index Entry in macro
Word 2000
Not only Mark Index Entry, it appears that many other functions don't appear to work the same manually as they do when used in a macro. I think (perhaps someone can confirm) that Mark Index Entry (Alt,Shift,X), when used in a macro, does not update the Main Entry field with the currently selected text, as my index consists of one entry (the first) with multiple page numbers associated with it (looking at the field codes confirms that all entries have the same piece of text associated with them). Is there any way of getting it to perform the same way as it does when used manually? |
