Inserting one Word document into another Word document
I am trying to insert one Word document into another Word document. When I
click on "Insert" and then "File," it does nothing. The curser just keeps flashing at my insert point. It doesn't let me go into any file or give me any instruction for inserting. -- Cg |

The two documents we are trying to merge will only consist of one page. It's
not that we are trying to create some huge document. The task is inserting letterhead at the top of a one-page letter. If I understand, you are looking to essentially insert borders, logos,
etc...Kinda like inserting a letter block into a CAD drawing. While this may be possible, why don't you try developing a template so that the document in which you want to write already contains the letterhead? By the way, I'm not sure how accomplish inserting a word file within another word file as you mentioned. In this particular instance, it's the firm's letterhead that we are working
with. However, other times it's just inserting language from one document into another. Nothing fancy, just basic word processing.
