Default Changing the style of tab leaders

Is there a way to change the style of tab leaders? I'd like to be able to
adjust the line weight and color.

Well, you can certainly select the leader (with or without including
the text at the tab stop), choose FormatFontFont tab, and pick a
"Font color".
