Inserting PowerPoint into Word
I've read that within a Word 2002 document you can click on Insert | Object |
Create from File and in this way insert a PowerPoint presentation into your Word document. When I follow these steps I only get the first slide, not the entire presentation. Is there a step that I am missing, or is this not the way to insert a whole preesentation (multiple slides) into a document? -- Brenda |

Not sure about PowerPoint 2002, but in 2003 there is an option on the File
menu, Send to... Microsoft Word, you will get options as to what you want to see. I tend to you Notes next to Slides, this produces a table, which then the slide images can be extracted. Hope this helps. Inserting PowerPoint into Word
I have some 'tips' that I've accumulated over the years from several sources.
One of these sources, perhaps 'Journal something...' gave a tip about the Insert | Object. This purportedly inserts an entire presentation, not just a slide. Since I can only get a single slide, I'm wondering if/what I'm doing wrong. I'm aware of the Sendto option. Thanks for your input. -- Brenda "DeanH" wrote: Not sure about PowerPoint 2002, but in 2003 there is an option on the File menu, Send to... Try double-clicking the slide (or icon); this should start the display of the
embedded presentation. Left click to move from slide to slide and ESC to end the presentation. Inserting PowerPoint into Word
Inserted objects cannot span pages. The only option is to insert a link.
