By the sounds of it, you overwrote normal.dot with your new template. Delete
it or rename it. "Mary" wrote in message ... obtained template at an university for small business owners. Now whenever I try to use word, it uses the template format. I can't get rid of it. Dear Jezebel,
The first time I went under tool, customize and changed the normal which it did work. After I opened the template again, it stopped working on all my new word documents. Should I be changes the normal.dot somewhere else? You don't make changes to normal.dot under tools customize. You change
your toolbars.
