Default Opening WordPerfect doc

The issue isn't that you don't have WordPerfect. The issue is that you don't
have the password. Ask the file originator for the password.

I'm trying to open a WordPerfect document in Word, but it was password
protected and I no longer have the WordPerfect program. Is there some
way to accomplish this?

Thanks JoAnn. I do have the password, but when I try to open the file
in Word, I get message: Cannot convert password protected documents

You could try to find someone with WP and get them to open the file and
paste the contents into an email for you.

You might take a look at this:

http://www.dataviz.com/products/conv...lus/index.html

I believe it contains a more robust conversion filter than Word does. NOTE,
however that they don't offer a free trial on Conversion Plus, so you might
want to inquire as to whether it can convert password protected WP files. As
JoAnn points out, that's where your real problem appears to lie.
