Default Do any templates exist for corporate internal documentation?

Template(s) should include (at least) sections for Title of Document,
Category, Date, possibly version or revision number. The template should be
versatile enough include company logo or letterhead. Also, template should
allow for preformatteded sections allowing the user to simply fill out the
template.

Is there a template for this?

The first items you mention are all included in standard document
properties. File Properties. These could be reflected in the body of the
document using DocProperty fields. You can easily set up a template that
includes your company logo or letterhead.

Take a look at: How to set up letterhead or some other document where you
want one header on the first page and a different header on other pages.
http://www.addbalance.com/word/headersfooters.htm This gives step-by-step
instructions. (It also has the following links)
