Default Track Changes

HELP!!! We have established some letters that have fill-in areas. When I
go in these letters to make changes, I highlight the fill in block and begin
typing. The fill-in block stays grayed out and the typed words go next to
the fill in blocks. In order to get the words where the fill in block is, I
need to accept all changes in the document. How do I get where I do not need
to accept all the changes? I have tried turning off the track changes, I
have tried clicking off the block under show but nothing seems to work.

Thanks,

Default Track Changes

If I understand your description of the problem, First, ALL changes need to
be Accepted or Rejected, *then* turn OFF Track Changes & save the file.
Also, if these 'letters' are being generated from templates this will have
to be done in the template (.dot) files, themselves. Otherwise TC will be
active in any files generated from the templates where it has been left
turned on.
