Default Creating lables - text not staying aligned inside the box

Having problems with labels in MS Word.
----------------------------------------------------------
Since I have had my new PC, I have not been able to create labels properly.
After entering text in the label, I press the Enter key, the curser jumps to
the edge of the border and this sets my text to the very edge of the margin -
not staying aligned inside the box . Pls help.

Modify the formatting of the paragraphs so that the text is positioned where
you want it.

Hope this helps.

Hi Doug,

Thank you! It does fix the problem as a work around solution but I shouldn't
have to do this each time I create a label. With my old PC, I only had to
press the enter key after entering text and the next line stays in alignment
to the above (no need to reformat).

I have even tried to copy the normal.dot from another PC that the labels
work perfectly from onto my new PC but it did not make any difference.

I also tried to modify the style and formatting and then applied it to the
template but that did not make any difference either. It somehow does not
remember the previous style being applied. I have never come across this b4.

Regards, Chris

The paragraph style used for labels is the Normal style. Modify that style
so that it is how you want the labels to be.
