Can I obtain the application of bar codes for my envelopes? How would I do
so? If not, is there a patch that can be applied to my Microsoft Office that
would provide bar codes when in the envelope feature?

If you are referring to POSTNET bar codes, the reason these have been
dropped in Word 2007 is that the codes created by the BARCODE field in Word
were not USPS-compliant. These codes are required only for bulk mail, and
there are very stringent restrictions on their use. See "The POSTNET bar
