Every time I open a word document is says "word cannot start the converter
doswrd32.cnv" how do i change this?

'Word Could Not Start the Converter file name'". Although the article
addresses Outlook 2000, I think the suggested solution will work for
Word too. Like the article says, make a backup of your registry just in
case.
