how do i set up automatic numbering
I created tickets for an event at church using Word. It has numbers on it
because we will have door prizes. Is there a way that I can have it automatically number them. I used a template in word under tickets and it shows numbers. Right now I would have to manually change each number, any suggestions. |

how do i set up automatic numbering
I assume that each ticket has a pair of matching numbers. These pairs can
be created with paired SEQ fields. Enter a pair of field braces using CTRL+F9. Inside the braces type SEQ Left. It will look like this: { SEQ Left } Enter another pair of field braces and type in SEQ Right e.g., { SEQ Right } Select All (CTRL+a) and then update fields (F9). You now have a numbered right and left pair. You can copy and paste these pairs to the other tickets. Just select all (CTRL+a) and update fields (F9) when you are done. You can format the number using a format switch e.g., you can use a format like 001 or you could start with a number 1001.
