Default numbering in columns

I am having trouble making an answer guide for an exam. I am working iin
table columns, but as I number the columns, the numbers revert to across
the rows, as opposed to staying up and down in the column. What am I
doing wrong? Thanks! Colleen.

Unless you really need a table for this, you might find that newspaper-style
columns work better. Alternatively, you could use SEQ fields, with a
different sequence for each column (e.g., { SEQ ColumnOne }, { SEQ
ColumnTwo }, etc.).
