Trying to figure out what would cause this error.
The boss is trying to paste from excel into word and then once in word to be
able to edit it if needed. But he gets an application server error when he
tries and then it tries to install something but then it says it can't find
the resource to install it.
I thought it may have something to do with OLE, but not sure. Any thoughts.

Without seeing the exact error messages, very difficult. And impossible to
offer any suggestions without knowing the version of Word that's involved.

My first thought is a third-party software (such as anti-virus) that's
interfering with the clipboard. Or perhaps an Add-in.
