What if you create a new document from the envelope wizard? You should be
able to debug the problem from what you see there -

While your suggestion might work using the envelope label function should be
able to print both addresses at one time. I can print the return address
then check to omit the return address and the delivery address prints. would
like to fine out why.

Did you do what I suggested? This should help to explain where the problem
lies.

I tried doing that which you suggested. Could not get to the format frame by
right clicking. Did however see that the problem appears to be that two
pages are being created, one for return address and a second for delivery
address. What could be causing that.

Check the formatting of the envelope address and envelope return paragraph
styles. The former holds the frame settings, the latter may have some
unwanted inter-paragraph spacing.

Do you get the same problem if you start Word in its safe mode (hold the
CTRL key whilst starting Word?). If not rename normal.dot to (say)
oldnormal.dot and restart Word.
