Default Template Font

I have an invoice template that is saved on a network, the template is
password protected and users are only able to enter information in the
designated fields.

When some people open the template - the font size changes and actually
makes the template go to two pages. This does not always happen - some times
even by closing out of word and going back in the template - it fixes it.

Anyone ever heard of anything this crazy?

Two possibilities occur to me:

(1) different printer drivers (even if the same printer)
See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/TextReflow.htm

(2) Under Tools Templates and Add-Ins the box is checked to update styles.
(this is less likely your problem) This would mean that they are getting a
document (not creating a document) and it is attaching to a template other
than the original.

The thing that confuses me is I create hundreds of templates, never had this
problem before and still don't have it with any other template. Do think it
would help to recreate it?
