I have Word 2003 SP1. Under Tools/Options/Edit there is a choice to use
smart cursoring. It was set by default to yes. What is smart cursoring? I can find no documentation at all on this, therefore can't make any kind of decision about whether to keep it that way or not. Thanks. |

While in Tools=Options=Edit in Word 2003 press F1 and then select the information for the Edit tab. The 'help' for that dialog is in that page. ******************* ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com "Kathryn" wrote in message ... I have Word 2003 SP1. Hello Kathryn:
To my knowledge, this is what smart cursoring does: Specifies that the insertion point moves as you scroll up or down. When you press the LEFT ARROW, RIGHT ARROW, UP ARROW, or DOWN ARROW keys, the insertion point responds at the page currently in view, not at its position prior to scrolling. I hope this has been helpful to you. "Kathryn" wrote: I have Word 2003 SP1. Under Tools/Options/Edit there is a choice to use smart cursoring. It was set by default to yes. What is smart cursoring?
