How do I get all my Word documents within one Word window
Every word document opens in a separate Word window. I want all of them in
one Word window. I am using Office 2003 and Windows XP. Thanks, Rob Jacobs |

Show or hide program buttons on Windows XP Taskbar Show multiple program buttons 1.. Right-click the background of the Windows XP Taskbar, and then click Properties. 2.. Click the Taskbar tab. 3.. Clear the Group similar taskbar buttons check box. 4.. On the Tools menu in your program, click Options, and then click the View tab. 5.. Select the Windows in Taskbar check box. Show a single program button 1.. Right-click the background of the Windows XP Taskbar, and then click Properties. 2.. Click the Taskbar tab. 3.. Select the Group similar taskbar buttons check box. But is there some way to show the buttons yet have the Word documents all open in one window? The buttons are useful to navigate quickly, but the multiple windows open clutters the screen. Thanks, but is there some way to have one Word window with the buttons showing on the taskbar? The taskbar buttons are great for quick navigation, but the multiple windows clutters the screen. In Word 2002 and 2003, you can clear the "Windows in Taskbar" check box on
the View tab of Tools | Options. This will put all Word documents on a single Taskbar button. I think this is not what you want, but there is no other way to combine Word documents into a single window. Since I run Word maximized, I never see more than one document regardless. -- Suzanne S.
