Default Form Check Boxes

Hi Bonni-

Using the Forms Toolbar fields, that ain't gonna happen unless you can write
(or otherwise obtain) some VBA code. You can use the Control Toolbox to
create Option Groups (which is what you are trying to do), but that would
necessitate a database to collect responses associated with a field.

Why not just use a Drop Down Form Field instead... or, less desirably,
include intructions to 'Check Only One'?

See http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/TblsFl...FmFldChbxs.htm. What
you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." For more about
online forms, follow the links at

Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,
