Default a form problem

I just created a Word template (.dot) with some combo boxes and text boxes.
I would like to save the whole document as a normal Word document (.doc)
so the new document'd contain the selected values from the boxes, but without
the input boxes.

Is it possible to turn selected entries from combo boxes and typed
texts from text boxes to static texts?

Hi ?B?YWtvcGFjc2k=?=,

Is it possible to turn selected entries from combo boxes and typed

1. Which version of Word are you using?

2. From which toolbar did you insert these combo and text boxes?

1. Which version of Word are you using?

I am using Word 2003.

2. From which toolbar did you insert these combo and text boxes?

I inserted these boxes from the Form panel. (View-Toolbars-Forms)
(They are Text Form Fields and Drop-Down Form Fields.)

Is there any way to save entries from such objects into a simple,
all-normal-text Word doc?

Thanks for taking the time to help me.

You can use the "Save data only for forms" option on the Save tab of Tools |
Options.

Yes, I know this option. But it saves only the data from the form... it makes
a new file
that includes something like:
"1. data"; "n. data"; "yet another data"

But I want a file that includes eveything (normal texts, pics, etc.) from
the original document
plus the selected listbox entries as normal text... like

Original file with forms:
Name: ___ ( I input my name here)
Profession: ___ ( I input my profession here)
Building: [___] ( and I select our building from this combo box)

Now I'd like to save it into a new file that doesn't incude text boxes and
combo boxes,
but normal text lines like:
Name: Tony
Profession: Net admin.
Building: C/12

Is it possible to save a form in this way?
"Save data only for forms" would make a file like:
"Tony";"Net admin";"C/12"

Save your form (as a new document - you did create from a template, right?).
Unprotect the form.
Ctrl-A (Select All)
Ctrl-6 (Unlink Fields)
Save again

Another keyboard shortcut to unlink fields is Ctrl-Shift-F9.
