Default put pictures in word

Hi group,
I am making a scrapbook. I have typed a word document using the 3
columns (newspaper style).
The word document looks kind of plain.

Is there a way that I can put little pictures into this word document
without having any effects on what I have already typed up?
I do not want any of my typed lines to move around.
thanks,
Lee

After inserting a picture, double-click it to bring up Format Picture
dialog, and set the Layout to Behind or In Front of Text. Then you
should be able to move the picture without the text changing.

I assume that you have space to put pictures in the margins--keep in
mind that most printers will not print right up to the edge of the paper.

Probably Word is not the best program for making scrapbooks--Publisher
might be better, or google for scrapbook software.

I was going to suggest Publisher for that. :-)
