In Word 2007, I set default for single line spacing within paragraph. I'd
like 1 1/2 line spacing as default during bullet or numbered lists. Can the
default be set seperatly for bullet or numbered lists?

Are you referring to the spacing of the list items or between them? In
either case, you can modify the List Paragraph style, but whether you choose
1.5-line spacing or, say, 6 points Spacing After will depend on which you
want.
