Graphics on labels
Having read Graham Mayer's instructions, I have tried to create an address
label with a small graphic on the right. I want the addresses to be in the centre (i.e. table/properties/cell/center) but as soon as I put the graphic in the cell, the text moves to the top of the label. What am I doing wrong, please? |

If you have Publisher on your system, I'd suggest using it for this task.
(I've never been able to create a nice mailing label with a graphic in Word. Publisher was designed to do projects like that.) -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "oe" wrote in message ... As JoAnn says, Publisher is easier for this task - but, if the images are
set behind text as indicated in the web page then the positioning of the text in the label is achieved by paragraph formatting. Dare I suggest that as you didn't manage to copy my name correctly from the web site, or the many posts I have made in the Word groups, that you may not have read the instructions as carefully as you thought -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org oe wrote: Having read Graham Mayer's instructions, I have tried to create an address label with a small graphic on the right. Sorry for mis-spelling your name, Graham. A slip of the fingers!
I think I am confusing watermarks and graphics. I guess I have to split the cells and use one for the graphic and one for the address fields. "Graham Mayor" wrote in message ... You can do it that way, but a watermark is essentially a graphic placed
behind the text and this is the easiest way to use it. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org oe wrote: Sorry for mis-spelling your name, Graham.
