cannot select drawing tool barconnectors
connectors from the drawing tool bar are grayed out and I cannot select any

In Word 2002 and 2003, connectors are unavailable unless you are using a
Drawing Canvas. -- Suzanne S. Hi Steve,
In Word 2002 or 2003 use Insert=Picture=New Drawing to open a blank canvas. In Word 2003 you can have a canvas appear for any graphic insert using the setting in Tools=Options=General ====== "Stevec" wrote in message ... Thanks.
