Can you please tell me how to get the dot leaders started (where it actually
works) with varying tab locations where the numbering would activate?

Example:

Ambulance...................... 1
Fire, Police Emergencies...3

Hi Janie

You set leader dots in the Tabs window - got to Format, Tabs. Set a tab
stop alignment and then set the leader dot type you want. Note that the
leaders dot go before (and not after) the tab you set them to.
