With a Word document, I choose "Mail Merge". When I want to "get data", I
try to open a Excel spreadshhet but I get an erro message :" World could not
re-establish a DDE connection to Microsoft Excel to complete the current
task" Can someone tell me what I am supposed to do? Thanks.

Please post what software & Windows versions are involved.

In the meantime, Do you have Excel installed on the computer?
