How do I keep a cross-reference updated after word doc changes
I inserted a cross reference into my document using a heading from further
down the document. If the paragraph number changes because I inserted more data, the cross reference is now wrong. |

I can see that F9 on the field updates it but surely this should be done when

Many thanks Anne. CTRL+A then F9 does the trick.
