This is really an irritating defect. I thought it was a problem with Windows
Accessibility tool - Magnifier. Now Outlook can affect Word behavior.

Don't use Word as your email editor in Outlook, and you won't
have this problem. Outlook comes with a perfectly functional
email editor.
