Default font size is too small in normal view of word 2003

When I try to type a letter in the normal view in word, it makes the font
size too small. In html etc views the font size is fine, this only happens
when i click on the normal view button. I tried detect and repair, and that
didn't help.

Please help

Thank you

What is your View | Zoom setting? Also, check Format | Font and make sure
you don't have Superscript or Subscript checked.
