Default drawing tools

I cannot find the "select tools" icon on Word 2007. Also, why can't I
ungroup clipart and edit it like I could in 2003?

At the far right end of the Home ribbon, in the Editing group, click the Select
button and then click Select Objects from the dropdown.

If the clipart can be separated (not all can be), the Edit Picture item will be
enabled on the context menu when you right-click the picture. All the ones I've
seen so far are already ungrouped when I do that.
